Using TherapyNotes or Sessions Health EHR?  Let Us Be Your Practice’s Billing Partner

IT IS IMPORTANT TO STRESS THAT PROVIDERS DO NOT HAVE TO BE USING THERAPYNOTES, SESSIONS HEALTH OR ANY EMR IN ORDER TO USE OUR MENTAL HEALTH BILLING SERVICE.  We have easy online forms providers can complete to provide patient demographics and billing.   In addition we can work with other EMRs like Practice Fusion.  Ask for information.

We can handle all billing responsibilities in TherapyNotes:

  • Set up accurately all payers and patients in TherapyNotes
  • On a daily basis we will accurately submit all claims in TherapyNotes, both electronic and paper.  We will ensure that proper CPT codes and modifiers are used so as to ensure claims are accepted and not rejected.
  • Review all insurance EOBs and post the payments in TherapyNotes
  • Verify all insurance benefits for new patients and for patients who change insurance and enter the information on the Billing Settings tab in TherapyNotes*
    • If you are using the Patient Portal in TherapyNotes, on a daily basis we will review and process the following forms:
      • Client Information Form
      • Emergency Contacts Form
      • Client Insurance Form
        • When reviewing the Client Insurance Form, we will ensure the correct payer is posted on the Billing Settings tab in TherapyNotes.  Quite often patients enter the wrong payer so we will ensure the correct payer is listed.
  • Review electronic rejection reports received from the payers.
  • Follow up on all outstanding or wrongly denied primary insurance claims we have submitted*.
