FAQ

  • What is the difference between the PremiumPlus Service and the Platinum Service?
    • The Platinum Service is full service, including verification of insurance benefits for new patients and follow-up of outstanding or denied claims.
    • With the PremiumPlus Service, insurance verifications are optional ($7.95 per verification) and follow-up of claims is not available.
  • Why would I choose the PremiumPlus Service over the Platinum Service?
    • The first obvious reason is price.  The PremiumPlus Service is significantly less expensive than the Platinum Service.
    • For most specialties, such as behavioral health, follow up is needed on only 2-3% of claims.  Let’s say that your office submits 100 claims per month on average.  That means you are paying a higher fee with the Platinum Service just so we can follow up on 2-3 claims per month.
  • If I choose the PremiumPlus Service, how will I know which claims require follow-up?
    • If a claim denies in error on an EOB, we will notify you of this and tell you to contact the payer.  For example, maybe a payer denies saying prior auth is needed but in reality auth is not required.
    • In addition, on a monthly basis we will provide you a Primary Claims Aging Report showing claims that were submitted at least 30 days prior that remain outstanding.  This report is organized by payer and has all required information so you can easily follow up with the payer.
  • Is there a minimum monthly fee for your services?
    • For the PremiumPlus Service, the minimum fee for claim submissions is $99.95 per month.
    • In comparison, the minimum fee for the Platinum Service is $199.95 per month.
    • Note the minimum monthly fee does not apply for practices purchasing an Annual Prepayment Option.
  • If I sign up for the PremiumPlus Service but want to switch am I able to do that?
    • YES!!!  If at any time you want to switch from the PremiumPlus to the Platinum Service (or vice versa), you are able to do that….effective with your next billing cycle with us.  Note we don’t let providers go back and forth between the two services but we do offer the one-time switch option.
    • For providers who are unsure which level is best, we STRONGLY recommend that providers choose the PremiumPlus option.  As long as you do not mind making a few calls to insurance payers, the PremiumPlus Service is the best option.
  • I have more questions about your services.  How can I contact you?

Fine Print:

  • Providers must complete the Getting Started Form on our website by November 30, 2023 at the latest.

  • Providers must purchase the prepayment option by 5:00 PM ET on November 30, 2023 at the latest AND prior to submission of any claims. 

  • Provider must use the number of claims purchased within one year of the date of purchase of the prepayment option.  HOWEVER, this one year time period does not begin until after the period of free months.

    • Example:  On October 20, 2023 you purchase a prepayment option and receive four months free.  Your one year time period for the prepayment does not begin until February 20, 2024.  Thus, the claims you purchase must then be used by February 19, 2025.

  • OFFER EXPIRES November 30, 2023 and is not available to existing clients.

*Limit of 100 free claims per month.  Claims in excess of this each month will be applied to the number of claims purchased for providers under the prepayment option; for providers under the standard rate, claims in excess of 100 per month will be billed at the standard rate.  Claims more than one month old from the date of completion of the Getting Started Form do not count as free claims.
